About Verified
- Join team human. We’re building the Verified Network – instant proof of human online. Every person should be able to prove who they are, instantly, on any platform. This is critical infrastructure for the 21st century. AI makes it necessary.
- We’re scaling fast. 8x revenue growth in the last 18 months with zero salespeople. Cash-flow positive, and reinvesting that cash into growth.
- A lean, world-class team. Founded by brothers Aidan and Liam McCarty (Stanford, Forbes 30 Under 30) with top tier investors (Tim Draper, Stanford Farmers) and advisors.
The role
- Help decide what we build, not just how we build it. Talk to customers and the business team every week, find the problems worth solving, and turn them into a roadmap. You’ll work very closely with our co-founder to define it.
- Own new products and features, from spec to launch. Write the spec, design the experience within our design guide, and ship with our engineers in days, not quarters.
- Make our existing products better every week. Own the ongoing improvement of 1-Click Signup, 1-Click Health, and 1-Click Verify, including our API docs and developer experience.
- Work backwards from the announcement. Start every project by drafting the Verified Update that will announce it, then build to make it true. Measure after you ship, and kill what doesn’t work, fast.
- Shape the Verified Network. You’re our first PM. You’ll help define how autofill becomes a persistent identity, and you’ll build the product function as we grow.
Our main current tools (but we’re obsessed with finding the best, so don’t hesitate to introduce us to new ones):
- Slack
- Linear
- GitHub
- Claude
- Sketch/Figma
- Wispr Flow
- Tools we’ve built internally
Requirements
- Shipped API or developer-facing products. You’ve owned products that engineers integrate, and you know what a great developer and PM experience looks like.
- Customer-obsessed. You talk to customers and the business team constantly, and you turn messy conversations into clear specs.
- Strong product design sense. You can design clean, simple flows within an existing design system (using AI or other tools), without needing a designer.
- Technical enough to earn engineers’ respect. You read API docs fluently, write precise specs, and pull your own data. You’re unafraid of code and getting in the weeds.
- Excellent writer. Specs, docs, and launch announcements that are crisp and unambiguous.
- Speed. Speed is our biggest advantage. You go from customer conversation to spec in a day, and you keep our engineers shipping without ever waiting on you.
- High integrity. We sell trust. You never ship anything that compromises user consent or data, and our customers and team trust your judgment completely.
- AI-pilled. You can explain exactly where you use AI, where you don’t, and why. You prototype with it and use it to synthesize customer calls, but it never replaces talking to customers. You’re always looking for cutting edge tools.
- Extreme ownership. You own outcomes, not outputs. When a launch misses, you take full accountability, learn, and fix it.
Who you are
You’ve been an early PM at a startup and shipped products developers love. You’re as happy building prototypes as on a customer call, and you have real opinions about identity and the future of the internet. You want to own whole products, not small features.
This isn’t for you if you want:
- A team of designers and analysts around you.
- A predictable roadmap handed down to you.
- To write specs and toss them over the wall.
- A 9-to-5. We work hard (at least 50 hours a week) toward a big vision, and we take real time to recharge.
Comp and benefits
- $180K to $220K base
- Meaningful early-stage equity. We’ll walk you through the full model on our first call.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with an immediate 3% employer match
- 3 weeks PTO, plus 3 sick days
- Semi-annual team trips, domestic and international
- Remote (US hours)
How we hire
Four conversations over about two weeks: a call with Liam, a short product exercise that we dig into together, a conversation with the engineers, and a final session with both founders. You’ll hear back within 3 business days at every step.
To apply
No cover letter. Send your LinkedIn or resume and answer one question: What’s the most exceptional thing you’ve ever done, at work or outside it?
