Questions about 1-Click Signup

What does a user need to enter?

Just a US mobile number. If the number alone doesn’t identify them, Verified asks for one more thing: their first name, birthday or the last 4 of their SSN.

How many of our users will Verified find?

About 95% of US adults, using a phone number plus that one quick question. Results depend on your audience. They’re lower for people under 25 and for VoIP or burner numbers.

What happens if Verified can’t find someone?

They continue to manual signup and type their details, exactly as they would today. Nobody gets stuck.

Does 1-Click Signup replace our KYC?

No. It autofills and verifies identity data, then your KYC provider runs its checks as usual. At Plus500, most of the lift came from more users clearing KYC.

Do we need 1-Click Verify too?

No, but we highly recommend it because 1-Click Verify autofills verified phone numbers with zero user input. Without that, you need to collect phone numbers, send SMS, and collect one-time passcodes.

Can users change the autofilled data?

Yes. You decide which fields people can edit before they confirm.

Where does the data come from?

Phone carriers, credit bureaus and other trusted data sources. Every field tells you how it was verified.
